Shaun Sorrells
After graduating from Tuskegee University in 2001, I worked as a software developer for a small security control company where I designed a state-of-the-art touchscreen control system to control prisons. While traveling around the US installing this revolutionary product, the housing crisis of 2008 rocked the industry. I lost my job.
I had no clue how to market myself or pursue my tech career further. Discouragement was nipping at my heels and time was not on my side.
Out of necessity, I pivoted my tech skills into a career as a technical recruiter and quickly grew to lead teams of tech sales reps & recruiters. Over the span of a decade, I literally met with hundreds of hiring managers at top companies, and have interviewed thousands of candidates for tech jobs. This is where I learned the "secrets" of the game.
I took this knowledge to transform my career into certified Salesforce professional in 60 days. With these new skills and experience I more than quadrupled my income. Needless to say, my career and life have changed.

How long is the class?The class lasts 90 days.

What materials or resources do I need for this class?All you'll need for this class is a laptop or computer with an internet connection. That's it! All of our learning, practicing, and doing is done online. There's no fancy software to install, or technical hardware to learn about.

What's the class schedule?We meet on: -Tuesdays & Thursdays at 9pm EST -Saturdays at 9am EST. Our classes last for about an hour and a half. We've learned that this schedule meets the needs of our students across the country in various time zones. Our classes are very interactive and dare I say fun.

What if I'm not technical at all?When someone says “I’m not technical”, it usually just means they are not confident when it comes to technology. Confidence only comes through competence or else it’s just arrogance. Our program builds your competence in tech, so that you’ll be confident in tech. Here’s what you need to know before joining the program, we’ll teach you everything else: Basic Computer Skills: An understanding of how to operate a computer, such as file management (saving and accessing things in folders), getting around in an operating systems (Windows or macOS), using web browsers (such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, or Opera). Web Browsing and Online Tools: Be comfortable using web browsers to search for information, access online resources, and interact with apps. Anything more technical than these two basic requirements you’ll learn in the program.

What if I miss a class or can't make it to class on certain days?Can't make it to class? No problem! All of our classes are recorded and made available to our students online. You're free to watch the classes you've missed or use the videos for review and reinforcement.

Do you guarantee I'll get certified or get a job?No. As you know, there is nothing guaranteed in life. However, if you follow the plan, you will accomplish your goals. We don't leave you alone. You're not learning on your own. You are surrounded with a team who is on the same path as you. You'll have a coach who is not only educating, but motivating and inspiring you. Here's the promise: If you do the work, you'll get the results!

How much does the class cost?Most tech bootcamps or training classes cost anywhere from $14,000 to $24,000. We offer our class for a small fraction of that cost. To secure your space in class this amount is paid upfront before the orientation. But don't let finances stop you from your career transformation... We also provide financing with flexible terms for those who are interested. Financing Process: Get pre-approved within 2 minutes Our lending partner pre-approves people with no impact to your credit score. Once you're pre-qualified, you'll be presented with a variety of financing options for you to choose. Once you chose a financing option, you submit the actual 3 minute application. At this point your credit is pulled once. The funds will be applied to your LFTDtech account within 48 hours. You're enrolled and ready to start you journey!

Do you provide refunds?Because of the digital nature of what we do, there is a time limit on refunds. Refund requests will be honored up until the second class. Refunds can be requested by emailing support@lftd.tech . Fees paid through our financing partner can not be refunded. Please be sure to review our terms & conditions.
